Class Level Description

01
Foundation - Early Development
Our curriculum leverages children's natural curiosity and imitative skills, using engaging characters, activities, and rhythmic games to improve their observation, attention, and imitation abilities. We aim to instill a love for dance in a joyful environment, enhancing their flexibility and overall physical development. This foundational phase prepares them for future growth in dance, focusing on physical conditioning, coordination, and a keen sense of movement and rhythm, fostering creativity and a passion for this art form.
02
Beginner
In the beginner stage, children show cognitive growth and problem-solving skills through reflection on others' thoughts and actions, enhancing their foundational dance skills and physical health. We focus on developing graceful postures and habits, aiming to boost confidence and determination. Our program aims to heighten their interest in dance, encouraging exploration and a deeper connection with the art form.
03
Intermediate
At the Intermediate level, students move into adolescence, focusing on professional training to improve muscle extension, strength, flexibility, and dance techniques. Our approach emphasizes the refinement and standardization of movements, enhancing their dance repertoire and technical skills. The goal is to elevate their performance abilities, with dedicated practice and expert instruction leading to increased confidence and artistic expression.
04
Advanced
The Advanced level targets dancers with a solid foundation in techniques and expressiveness, aiming to enhance complexity and performance quality. The curriculum introduces intricate technical combinations and variations for exceptional skill and artistic expression. Students face demanding routines that hone precision, agility, and emotional depth in their performances, with the goal of refining their skills to a pre-professional level and enabling them to captivate audiences with superior artistry and technicality.

Dance Styles

Ballet: basic training, techniques, variations, and pointe techniques

Ballet, the foundation of all dance forms, consists of precise movements emphasizing turnout, stretching, straightness, and the harmony of the body's straight and curved lines. Its aesthetic and technical standards highlight lightness, elegance, nobility, and expansiveness. Ballet serves as fundamental training in various aesthetically valued sports.

Modern Dance: basic training, Horton technique, repertoire

Modern dance, originating in Europe and America in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, emphasizes individual expression and emotional conveyance, breaking free from traditional dance norms and techniques. It focuses on the dancer's unrestricted body movement and deep emotional expression. As a vibrant and innovative style, modern dance offers a wide platform for dancers' expression, delivering artistic satisfaction and a fresh viewing experience for audiences.

Classical Dance: body rhythm, repertoire

Classical Chinese dance, a cornerstone of traditional dance, is celebrated for its artistic imagery, body rhythm expression, precise and standardized movements, and superior skills. It evolves from national and folk dance traditions, refined and innovated across generations, embodying exemplary significance and classical style. Its distinctiveness lies in its emphasis on the beauty of curves—twisting, leaning, rounding, bending—and a temperament that is strong, upright, reserved, and flexible, influencing both movement and overall performance. A key feature is its focus on body rhythm, harmonizing movement with rhythm to highlight the unity of form and spirit, showcasing the unique style and charm of Chinese classical dance.

PBT: scientific muscle quality capability training and technical conditioning

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative conditioning program aimed at enhancing muscle memory to help dancers achieve peak condition and unlock their full potential. Focused on core stability, weight transfer, and alignment, PBT exercises, developed by Marie Walton-Mahon and physiotherapists, boost technical skills along with strength and flexibility.
